Publisher Deep Silver and developer Nine Dots have released a new Developer’s Diary video for their hardcore fantasy adventure OUTWARD.

Such an underrated game. Not only as an RPG but also the fact that it's 100% co-op and local split screen like come on man that's awesome
My gal and I have a love-hate relationship with the first one. The concept is amazing; the difficulty is sometimes brutal. I'll never forget trying to return to town before dark---trying to help my gal's character because she was slow---diseased from eating undercooked food. Meanwhile, I was being chased by a chocobo that had become smitten with her for some reason. Traumatic gameplay, lol!
True it is GRUELING when you you're starting out. Wasnt actually till my 3rd time starting over that i realized you really need to make a B-line for the trainers and get as many skills to enhance stamina/health/damage as you can, makes it a much more enjoyable rate of progression.

Truly great multiplayer RPGs are few and far between, but this genre is home to some phenomenal titles from over the years.
I have been a huge advocate for this game, i really want it to do well. It just oozes "Passions Project" and i like how real the devs are and the fact that they are just trying to make a game they want to play (which shows a lot in their live streams) It just looks to have so many great ideas small and large that make for a super interesting sounding experience.
