Sad that anyone thinks this is fun "redefined", if anything it's fun "Returned". the things that make DMCV fun are the same things that have always made DMC/CAPCOM/Japanese games fun for decades. Publishers have just lost track of those core design pillars in place of formulaic addictive gameplay loops meant to never truly satisfy you so you keep chasing them.

Said far better than I could have it didn't redefine anything it just kept being the same and remind us games can be pure dumb fun and that there is nothing wrong with that.

Certain games ooze fun and most that are, use tried and tested formulas. Games like DMC 5, Vanquish, Bayonetta, Mario, amazing FUN SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCES!!! This is why the games industry has lost touch being obsessed with open world crap that bores me silly.

Just make good games and the fans will appreciate and pay for them.

Capcom says it wants Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney to be 'core IPs' like Monster Hunter

Sorry if you were expecting Bionic Commando.

Actions speak louder than words. Show me a new Mega Man game that isn't a collection of games I played yesteryear. If they can churn out some kind of RE game every other year they can make a new Mega Man entry. It's not like it's known for its deep stories.

I can see DMC, but the others just weren't built for that without some major adjustments on how they're played.

If they make the right choices and right kinds of games, the Mega-Man IP could potentially be made into an animated film or streaming series like the success of Mario and Sonic. Surely that thought may have crossed their minds? Or am I being silly? I mean there is a lot more water to go under the bridge for them to even start considering that. But I used to be a big mega-man fan back in the day. I'd love to see it happen.

It’s being done on purpose just to destroy inafune . It’s some pride stuff on the inside .

blacktiger166d ago

all talk and if they launch it will cost $200

shinXseijuro166d ago

Just like the guys said . I’ll believe it when I see it . Even the shareholders are asking questions regarding Megaman . I don’t want to sound ludacris but I have a strong conviction that the heads at Capcom are purposely holding the Megaman IP down because of their grudge and spite towards inafune on some deeper Japanese honour code stuff . It’s deeper than we think . You can tell something isn’t right .

Well i hope DMC is being worked on. Either a remake of 1 or 6 will do.

And bring back Megaman X. Either regular, command mission or make it a Metroidvania since silksong is so popular.
