This same conclusion was also for Bloodborne, which I did enjoy a lot more than Dark Souls. I love them all though.

Bloodborne looks better. They really need to stop working with greedy companies like Bandai and Activision. Every time they worked with Sony they created miracles:

Demon's Souls - If not for this game, Bandai would have never funded the sequels because they would cost twice as much. They inspired many games including Hollow Knight, Dead Cells and Nioh.

Bloodborne - Their best game yet with the most polished combat, superior graphics and amazing soundtrack.

starchild2641d ago

Complete BS. Bloodborne was great, but I didn't enjoy it any more than the Dark Souls series.

Sekiro by all accounts is shaping up to be something special. The graphics engine has clearly been improved and the visuals are noticeably better than any previous From Software games.

And you complain about Activision, but out of all From Software's recent games Sekiro is the one that doesn't have online components at all. It's a beautiful, pure single player action game.

MoshA2641d ago

Yeah I am surpised to see Activision publishing a single-player experience. However the graphics and animations still look exactly the same, even though they scrapped the RPG aspects. The game looks a few years behind Nioh. What did they spend 3 years on?
2011-2016 - Dark Souls Trilogy & Bloodborne
2016-2019 - Sekiro which will get lower ratings than any previous Soulsborne game.

DrumBeat2641d ago

As much as I love the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne was what got me into it, as I'd never played a Dark Souls game prior to Bloodborne.

I still prefer Bloodborne to any of the Dark Souls games. I think I prefer its more aggressive combat style.

Babadook72641d ago

Yah Bloodborne was the best souls style game to date imo. Highest rated also. Masterpiece.

"Sekiro which will get lower ratings than any previous Soulsborne game"

Let's not get carried away.

KwietStorm_BLM2641d ago

The whole franchise has been great, not just platform exclusive "miracles". Sekiro looks like another great game. Where are you getting that Bandai has ever been greedy?

MoshA2641d ago

Season pass 2. Making FromSoftware rush Dark Souls 2, downgrade it so that it can be released on all 5 platforms, cut budget and rush Dark Souls 3 leading to missed out content like time travel and daily/night cycle and more.

KwietStorm_BLM2641d ago

So you made that whole conspiracy up in your head just to say Bandai is greedy. You have zero idea of what transpired during development. You just came to your own conclusions so you can play favorites, and you even made it obvious because you actually want to see Sekiro underperform. Corny as hell.

MoshA2641d ago

Hopeless case. Sekiro will underperform either way, because of the bar Nioh set for combat and cutscenes. If it doesn't at least have an interconnected loading screen-less world like BB/DS1 then it will flop hard and even FromSoft Stockholm victims won't be fond of it.

don't pay for this streaming platform, just do some research and find free streaming elsewhere. they took money after I canceled

This looks cool, but there's something off about the art. It looks like they added sketchy lines to make it look gritty instead of making it look gritty.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Review

NoobFeed editor Ahnaf Tajwar writes - FromSoftware cooked up one of the best combat systems with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and never did anything like it again. That may be a good thing, as it makes this game one of a kind. If you are a fan of Souls games or a borderline masochist, you will, without a doubt, love Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice because it is a masterpiece. It is a must-play for all hardcore gamers.
