BioWare's multiplayer shooter Anthem was terminated this week because EA no longer wanted to maintain servers for people to play the game on, and without them, no one can play the game. But the former executive producer of Anthem has revealed that BioWare had technology working, close to the game's release, that would enable us to host our own servers to play the game on.
Article says Anthem. Fallout 76 has too much bad press going against it.
Why not both of them just die.
Anthem has a great foundation, the combat is excellent and there's a real sense of freedom flying from location to location. The character interactions between missions are good too thanks to some great voice acting, wandering around the fort chatting reminds me of Mass Effect.
The world itself needs to be fleshed out more though. World Events need to be made easier to find and it really feels empty in freeplay mode due to there only being a max of 3 other players out there with you. There's plenty more that can be added and it's early days yet.
Fallout 76 by a mile. So much to do in that game it's crazy.
