However, instead of Resident Evil taking a more action-packed and arcade approach, they opted to turn it into its own IP, an IP which could be taken in any direction as they create a whole new universe and lore for.
Over the years, the franchise has had its ups and downs as it tried out new things and different approaches to the formula, yet Devil May Cry 5 feels like the perfect game in terms of the core mechanics and experience.
