Colonization, yes that's the official Yanqi-running dog spelling, is a remake of a revered game from the early nineties, using the Civilisation engine. Not having played the original, it is hard to make comparisons and so they shan't be made. But on its own terms, this succeeds quite marvellously. On your terms, well, that's tricky to judge. This is a very old-fashioned game and may not grab your attention. The gameplay had Games On at 'hello' but visually it just looks… old.
2K will implement online service changes for several legacy titles, including releases for Windows PC, as a result of GameSpy Technology terminating its online service offerings for video games.

I never played Homeworld but I'm gonna check it out.....maybe Good ol Games has it for dirt cheap!
