Though everything changed on that hot June day when Capcom gave us our first glimpse at the remake of Resident Evil 2 which would end up releasing only six months later. And now that we’ve gotten our hands on the game and survived the zombie-infested streets of Raccoon City all over again we can safely say that not only does 2019’s version of Resident Evil 2 live up to the original’s legacy, it surpasses it in every conceivable way."
