There are a lot of shortcuts taken with the DMCV demo. Don't believe me? Check out character shadows when not in direct sunlight. Easiest place to see it is on top of Nico's van. How about those two circles under each foot, boys? Speaking of vans, jump on top of the other one just before that and look and what Nero's standing on! How does he defeat gravity!?! It's amazing! Yeah, and I pre-ordered this game, too... Not feeling too confident about that life choice between that and a few other things in the demo. Hoping it's a (much) earlier build and it's all jazzed up for the final!

They completely dropped the ball on both MvC:I and SFV, have constantly messed with Switch releases (Mega Man, Resident Evil, Okami, Onimusha, etc.), and almost ruined Resident Evil just a few years back.

So while Resident Evil 2 and MHW showed there is hope down the road, Capcom still is Capcom and needs to completely change before many trust them again.

One would think they should end up in prison for all the murdering they have committed...

So SFV goes from being staple target for easy bashing to 'murdering' because MHW and RE2 are highly regarded.

DMC 5 seems suspect to me a little dated with the gameplay and storytelling but people seem to like it so maybe the hit train can keep rolling.

It's really simple just give the fans what they want. Deliver great products that are quality and the cash will follow! I just wish they would get MvC back on track and with the Fox/Disney merger I'm hopeful the next one will be more on point. Of course it will take more than just the extra characters but with all the feedback they should be able to pull it off.

I have faith because of what they have done and are doing with RE7, RE2, Monster Hunter World, Mega Man Legacy Collections, Mega Man 11 and Devil May Cry 5. SFV launched in a mess but they've gotten it up to speed and now it's in a pretty good place. Also with them acknowledging Dragons Dogma and the Nemesis remake I feel they are in a better position they were five years ago. Just throw in a new Dino Crisis and Onimishu and we'll really be rocking and rolling!

sorry, only monster hunter was a step in the right direction. a remake does not count and a freaking pvp fighting game is also nothing to brag about. crapcom is still
crapcom. and i guess they are not able to redeem themselves.

What did they do to the stretfighter games dumbing 6 buttons down to four wtf to that, I cant even play them because of that $h!t. Its totally and absoloutly horrendous, get me my 3 punch and 3 kick buttons back and maybe can pick one of these fight games back up again.

Capcom is back to their glory days Sega could learn from them right now.

Street fighter 5 doesn’t belong in that thumbnail the game botched its release so badly and while it has recovered somewhat it’ll never be as successful as SF4 was.

Now we just need them to continue killing it with a new VIEWTIFUL JOE BABY!

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
