Netherrealm studios unveiled Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay two weeks ago. There was a lot to unpack in the thirty-minute presentation, including new characters, a revamped gear system, and major changes to some core fighting mechanics. Most of it looks like positive changes, but there was some worrying stuff there too.

Despite having creative ideas, NetherRealm Studios can't properly execute them to incorporate a fun progression-based single-player mode.

A Mortal Kombat 11 Easter egg has finally been found years after it was originally teased by the senior designer who put it in.

The Humble Melee Mayhem Bundle just launched recently. It includes ten items including Mortal Kombat 11, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Chivalry 2, and more.
The fatalities are no longer cool or shocking (back in the 90s this was some heavy shit and the Genesis version had optional gore censoring) and most importantly other fighters do fighting better.
So, stiff game play and the novelty of fatalities has dried up. Just my opinion on the franchise as a whole, and I doubt MK 11 has advanced the series much in any way.
FYI link does not work it takes you too an article about VR here is the link( https://www.parallaxmedia.o... instead of mortal kombat.
I used to love my fighting games back in the day. I lost interest in them along time ago tbh.
For me personally it's the genre which has never really evolved.
I'm not really good at fighters, im a huge Smash Bros fan but that a diff type of fighter,,, Killer Instinct I have always loved and old ones like mace the dark age and powerstone ... Fighters aren't good anymore
