
We take on the worst game in the Sonic series. It breaks us.

I think this is how Japanese devs need to think. Catering to the west is a terrible idea. I personally, seek out Japanese developed games because they bring a unique experience to gaming. They just stand out more that way.
The sonic music is iconic the mega drive games were some of the best on the system but i wouldn't say they were free of western influence especially since 3 was composed in part by Michael Jackson
But honestly most of the crush 40 soundtrack music lives in my head rent free
Uhhh that's a strange thing for him to say. Even in the interview he admits to listening to a lot of western music.

The popular Sega franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog, has been really successful in recent years, forging paths for the recent upcoming titles.
It's not even that bad, definitely not the worst. People just jumped on the bandwagon with this game. I'm not saying it's perfect, far from it, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. I completed each story mode, every side quest, collected every collectable and S ranked every level. If this game was as broken as people said it was, I wouldn't be able to do that.
The Sonic Boom games are worse than this one, including a lot of the old school games too.
