This is Bethesda. They sweeze every last penny from customers. Very few has left with integrity, respect for customers and love just to create games.

Glad I cancelled my pre-order after all the Bethesda crap started.

And they are so proud to anounce this. No thank you.

fuck this. They knew how they were going to monetize this game before the first line of code. Just make it free-to-play.

Microtransaction is enough to stab Hype right in the heart.

Wasn't going to buy this day one but now I think I'll wait for a heavy discount before considering buying it at all.

That's nice my torrenting your game will be a work in progress, and it's been ongoing for over a decade 👍 Longer if you count the old school BBS boards and sometimes newsgroups in the end I always win. I don't complain no more I just look and take, and smile :)

Did anyone actually read the article. The title is misleading. He says this:

“We’re working through our post-launch plans…our plan is this: We’ve put together our team in such a way where we can be agile enough to steer into what people want more of,” explained the studio director, Tim Willits.

“One of the problems that [developer] teams have is they line up all this DLC content and then they find out that everyone wants something else and [they become] stuck,” he said. “So we’re still working through that.”

“I know for sure that we’ll have some free updates–we’ll have some paid updates–but exactly how we lay that out, we still are working through it,” he added.

"Willits confirmed in an interview with GameStar last year that there weren’t going to be lootboxes in Rage 2 but that doesn’t guarantee that microtransactions won’t be available for the game."

The post launch content plans are a work-in-progress not micro-transactions, although they can't say there will not ever be micro-transactions.

I'd actually like to see Kane & Lynch make a return. I had lots of fun playing both titles on ps3.
