This is just furthur cementing what we've all been saying all year... 2008=PS3 This is the PS3's party year. and it's showing. This christmas is gonn abe spectacular with the titles coming out.. this by far is the best and most higly rated Jap SRPG this season and all year. it's gonna be awesome. i cant wait to play it. I paused... thought for a moment, and was like, (Yeah it did, didn't it? Wow!) I knew this was going to be good the first time I saw it.

Thank you Sega for including the Japanese language track! Not that I would have minded the english voice acting... but it's so nice to see a developer including both. I'd love to see more of that.

I'm honestly not too surprised by the score though. Not after playing the demo. I was looking forward to it even before having any hands-on time... but that demo sold it. Though it's a vastly different in terms of gameplay mechanics... it feels like it's carrying the spirit of Skies of Arcadia (one of my all-time favorite RPG's). There's just something so delightful about it.

I know that with games like Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, and many others that this title may not have been on many people's radars... but at the very least I think those with even the slightest interest should give the demo a go. I think this title could be easily overlooked and kind of passed by just because folks here that it's a strategy game. It certainly is... but I feel the way they've blended all these different elements really makes it quite accessible and I believe it could appeal to an audience outside of just RPG or strategy game fans.

It's a definite buy for me!

Another AAA exclusive for the PS3. I'm beginning to lose count. Poor 360 owners. Lost Odyssey + Infinite Undiscovery + Kingdom Under Fire: COD + Tales of Vesperia + Spectral Force 3 + Operation Darkness + Too Human = All flops.

So far, the PS3 is the only console with 2 AAA exclusives in 2008.

Personally I wasn't a huge fan of the demo, I'll give it another try but I just don't think its my type of game. Art style is very nice though.

Hope other reviews for it are good too. Damn 3 exclusives get 9+ from IGN this week. Great week for the PS3.

According to you an AAA game is when a game reaches 90 on Metacritic however this game has done no such thing and therefore is not considered AAA but AA instead.

This is the final conclusive evidence in a string of recent incidents showing that Sony did send IGN a cheque. I downloaded this game and played it and I ENJOYED it

BUT NO WAY IN HELL is this game a 9.0, no way in hell are the graphics, sound and presentation 9+.

i was always intrigued by the art style, and the interesting take on RTS games, but it wasn't until i got to play the demo for myself that it became a must buy.

it's shame i don't have the cash to pick it up.

i can't even pick up Resistance 2 tonight (the store across the street got their copies in today).

hell, sacrificing Fable 2 for Resistance 2 is looking MIGHTY tempting, but it's the only 360 game i own ( i got rid of Condemned, Crackdown, and Mass Effect for Fable 2; i kind of wish i had kept Mass Effect, honestly).

On a different side note: its strange how some specimens of the under-bridge-resident kind whine and moan on this thread, specially about the imho beautiful artstyle. The game fully deserves the high graphic scores because the crayon lookalike art is completely new for such a game and looking outstanding. No idea why some people whine that it should not deserve 9 and up for the graphics.

I played the demo and loved it, it's a very nice game, plays somewhat like Final Fantasy Tactics.

There are different classes, tank, heavy guy with a spear that shoots laser beams, scout ( runs fast and has a lot of action points ), sniper, medic and there are many different characters.

It's one of those games that keep SEGA up there with the best ones.

Wow Sega Is really stepping it up with the PS3 exclusives, after everyone thought they were becoming mediocre at making games. This and looking at the gorgeous Yakuza 3 video. Maybe they should ditch their multi-platform approach and go exclusive to PS3 on all titles.

The demo was just plain fun and i know this game will just be plain fun.

good score, but the game is not for me I tried the demo and didn't like the feel of the strategy elements in the game. So I'm going to pass on this title.
