idk why nintendo didn't include a way to charge the joycons without needing to have them connected to the switch from the getgo

Neonridr2686d ago

well there are.. plenty of 3rd party chargers that you stick your joycons into to charge. Imagine the Move controller charge stations if you will.

You seem to know a lot about Nintendo do you think there's going to be an upgrade I want to get one but it if there's an upgrade I'll wait.

Neonridr2686d ago

@Tazzy - Nintendo is known for releasing upgraded hardware with their handheld divisions. DS had a DS Lite, the 3DS has a New 3DS variant. Both had upgraded internals, although neither really capitalized much with the beefier specs. In fact only one or two games required the "New" variants in order to play games (Xenoblade Chronicles was one for example). So it's possible we could see an upgraded Switch. I would have to think it will be a mid-gen refresh like Sony and MS did with their PS4 and XB1 consoles. A better screen with an upgraded internal component (maybe like an X3 if they even exist by release). I would think this might release in the same ballpark as the PS5 and next Xbox.

Who knows though.. your guess is as good as mine.

Yeah but I can just connect a USB charger into the move controller and plug it into anything. Should've made the dog grip another way of charging the joycons

Ninte2686d ago

Because their are smarter people then Nintendo. It always has to be someone else to make things to fix the switch.

THERE are smarter people THAN Nintendo*
Oh the irony.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing17d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit17d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing17d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9217d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
