Unlike single-player titles, multiplayer games need a specific amount of players to keep it going. Whether it's filling matches or providing legitimate reasons to continue support, if not enough people are playing the multiplayer game is shut down. I agree with this. The time travel mechanics. The sense of scale. The relationship with your mech. The bosses all had personalities. It's a wonderful game.
Yeah it was good, but it only did the time travel bit in one level. Dishonered 2 did the same thing. Now how about a game where it's implemented throughout the gameplay? Singularity says Hello (and deserves so much more recognition).
An unofficial fan-made launcher for Nexon and Boss Key Productions' first-person shooter, Lawbreakers, has once again made the game playable after 6 years.
After six years since servers were killed off, LawBreakers is being revived in an unofficial capacity with playtests happening this weekend.
Hey, if Gigantic can garner enough attention it can happen for LawBreakers too. Funny thing is that both would share a similar story if going multiplatform:
-Gigantic remained Xbox One/PC until closure
-LawBreakers remained PS4/PC until closure
I wouldn’t say Titanfall 2 died instantly. Maybe slowly but not instant. I played it for at least 4 months with no issues finding full games.
Just checking over the list and I don’t think TF2 belongs in this category. I mean it did have a pretty fantastic SP.
You could add fallout 76 as a special mention, but it was stillborn so never really alive to begin with
Titanfall 2 is still very active now. My son plays it all the time... plenty of people.
