Yessss, so many developers don't seem to respect our time lately! They pad these games with what amounts to boring fetch quests, and it starts to feel like an actual job, rather than a fun escape.

Veneno2702d ago

I disagree. With just the sheer amount of games that keep coming out you still would not have enough time to finish them all. Even people whose job it is to report on games don't have enough time to play everything.

uth112702d ago

agreed, i only have about 2 hours a day to play games, so I don't even bother playing some games like Witcher 3 because they would take me months to complete

In Open World games that may be the case. But the beauty of Open World games is that you don't have to do 60% of what's in them most of the time. Not if you're just looking for a good story. But you can't blame developers for wanting to appeal to gamers that want more time out of their games.

But what about games like God of War? Games that are 20-40 hours long that are interesting the whole way through.
