Skytorn, a procedurally generated Metroidvania from the developer behind Celeste, has been canceled as announced by the game’s lead programmer.

PlayStation Experience 2015 is in the bag, and only now are all the biggest announcements really starting to sink in. Sony's fan-driven event had a strong showing this year, with excellent independent games like Firewatch, Bound, and The Tomorrow Children bumping shoulders with biggies like Uncharted 4 and Far Cry Primal. But there were even more stellar outliers that deserve a chance in the spotlight. We played and loved these games on the show floor, so keep an eye out - you won't want to miss them in 2016.
but, but.... this are indie games!!!! i thought some people say that they dont count as real games!! /s
any way looking forward to some of them, and some that arent included in that list, but there are so many games coming that it would take a long time to list them all ;D
Good read. I understand the disappointment for some because they don't understand what the event is about, but I thought it was great for not being able to be there. My personal dissatisfaction with two things is Shawn Layden in general and no word on Sony Bend's friggin game. But love all the indie revivals from Tim Schafer.
Zodiac look nice, all other look like crap, not counting the aaa games.
It's funny listening to gamers whine and mope about psx.....how quickly they forget all we saw at E3 and Paris games show. Some people are never satisfied.........

Skytorn Coming to PS4
Terrarriorn or Skyerria? We were good at Indiestattion, lets not go to Clonestation.
During the PlayStation Experience a whole lot of independent games got recognized with announcements, gameplay, ports, and more. At Trust in Play, we decided to feature a few of the neat ones.
That’s suck to hear. But I wish you guys luck.
It looks as if this was a team decision in that case there should be no problems, it’s a shame that this project never came to fruition but then again this story is VERY common in game development.
I'm not a big fan of metroidvania titles but it's sad to hear devs deciding to cancel a game, especially when it looked well from the outside
Sky what?
That's too bad, but I'm behind developers pulling the plug when it doesn't feel right. That's a company that is more grounded and has longevity.
