I've never payed anything for cosmetics in a multiplayer game, it truly is pathetic how much people fork over for a new costume weekly or monthly. Games like this make me hate certain developers but if you are stupid enough to buy them then shame on you! 🤑🤮💩

All made billions from micro transactions. This is extra free income for very little work. That's why companies like ubi are saying they will release less games with releases more focused live services

does this mean that next year every developer will incorporate some kind of battle royal in their games? OR add dances to their games? OR make their games cheaper (or free) and focus on a simple fun experience? ....will this battle royal craze die out like the angry birds craze, or the pokemon go craze? what happens when every developer implements this battle royal? well i'm guessing they will have to come up with creative ways to differentiate themselves from the rest which will be no easy task. at what point will people get tired of battle royal modes?...i'm genuinely curious to know where the industry goes from here.
