Now that it’s on the biggest home console platform, PUBG Corp. will be hoping that they can really go toe to toe with the rest of the booming Battle Royale genre that it helped to popularise. Fortnite is obviously now the dominant force in the subgenre, but H1Z1, Black Ops 4 and others are now pretenders to the more realistic looking side of things. Does PUBG still rule the roost, or has one of the pretenders planted their bum on the vacant throne?"

From GI.biz: "Krafton, the Korea-based publisher behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, released its Q3 financial results alongside news on how it's expanding its collection of studios.
The company reported that it saw revenues of $328.5 million and net profits of $171.5 million, the latter marking a year-on-year improvement of 27%.
Krafton also announced it plans to acquire Neon Giant, the developer behind The Ascent, and open a new studio in Canada."

The latest PUBG update transforms the weapon meta in Krafton’s battle royale game, bringing changes to vehicles and Deston to make winning even harder

PUBG, the battle royale game from publisher Krafton, will be banned in Afghanistan in 90 days as the Taliban says it is a waste of time and too violent
I gave up on this polished turd or... unpolished turd i guess. How can a studio make so much money and not have this thing running smooth by now is beyond me. Pass pass pass 🙌
I sleep
LOL!!
It's crazy how quickly the script flipped on PUBG. A year ago it was the King of the Battle Royale genre and sneaking into GOTY lists. Now it's getting left behind. That exclusivity period seems rather unfortunate now (even if Fortnite still would have become a dominant force).
That's because the PS4 is weak.
