Top 10: EA Games

Jacob St-Amour from Link-Cable Writes: "Many people have had mixed opinions of EA as of late, where some of their more recent titles haven’t quite been as promising as intended. While it is true that some of their games haven’t quite hit the mark, the company has had many great titles over the years deserving of recognition and praise. Today’s Top 10 is dedicated to just that as we take a look back at the best games that Electronic Arts ever had to offer. The rules? Only one game per series and EA has to be the publisher."

For me(put them in any order you want):

1. Mass Effect 2
2. Mass Effect 3
3. Mass Effect 1
4. Battlefield Bad Company 2
5. Burnout Paradise
6. Battlefield Bad Company 1
7. Battlefield 1943
8. Battlefield 4
9. Battlefield 3
10. Medal of Honor: Airborne

Nothing that they have come out with in the last 3 or 4 years has interested me much at all.

Wasn't that LucasArts not EA?

ZeekQuattro2728d ago

KOTOR is nice but that was made by Bioware and published by Lucasarts. EA hadn't acquired Bioware yet when that game released.

bloop2728d ago

I'd take ME1 over ME3 any day.

DaniMacYo2728d ago (Edited 2728d ago )

Medal Of Honor Front lines
Medal Of Honor Rising Sun
Need For Speed 2
Need For Speed underground
Need For Speed Underground 2
V8 Challenge
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 4
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 1
Any order.

Mass Effect 2
DA: Inquisition
Black
Burnout Paradise
BF:BC2

For some reason I can't stop thinking about Jade Empire now. Why oh why did they let EA buy BioWare? Whyyyyy?!

Oh and I can't get past 5, I've played a lot of EA games but not many belong on a "tops" list IMO.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit23d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing23d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9223d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
