From Nintendo Everything: "D3 Publisher posted a new trailer for their otome visual novel Nightshade today: The game will be released on December 20th worldwide; only Japan is getting a physical release of it though."
Nintendo Switch otome games are making their mark on the system, with new games and ports of older ones all finding a new home. There’s a lot to peruse, and not all of it is good. Some games are definitely better than others, and you want to jump in with a title that will provide an enjoyable and optimal experience. No sense being alienated from the outset!
Hardcore Gamer: For some reason, there is a huge interest in ancient Japanese history in the otome visual novel scene. This is probably in large part due to the success of Hakuoki. The series is tremendously popular in both Japan and the United States and features a cast of hunky shinsengumi warriors. As a result we have seen numerous similar games make their way out over the years. One such title is Nightshade.
