After A Historically Bad Launch, Is 'Fallout 76' Worth Saving?

That's Betheada game studio's call. It's all subjective but Monster hunter world was a bad port on release which got fixed up and is now rating alot higher by users and games like No mans sky has seen a massive slew of content drops amd users comming back after people also argued that it shpuld be abandoned.

Fallout 76 is without a doubt a shell of it's real potential but we'll have to see if Bethesda attempt to bring it back around with contect and graphical updates or if their post launch content falls as short as it's launch.

For the people that bought it? Yes.
It should have never been made. Not every game needs to be a live service.

No. It's a disaster. I'm expecting some form of an apology next E3 after they quietly phase the game out over the next few months and pretend it didn't happen.

I am sure the game could be saved with enough effort, however, the damage to the game and Bethesda's reputation has been done. Fallout76 will never recover enough to hit the sales projections that the publisher probably expected.

I am quite pleased as I have always felt Bethesda got a free pass in respect of technical failings where Fallout and Elder Scrolls games were concerned, perhaps they will actually get their act together. When you see what other devs have achieved with their open world's, there is just no defending the shoddy programming demonstrated in Bethesda's open world's.

WHY? why would any gamer help save this CRAP of a game and a shameless effort to nickle and dime gamers with pretty much no effort at all? the game is a broken mess but the MT part is well and running! I hope this game die a quick but painful death

The game itself? No, it's not worth saving but from a Bethesda reputation standpoint, it goes without saying they need to support this should have been aborted fetus they gave dirty manbirth too. The "fallout" will be just far too damaging for their reputation if they dropped support for it.

As bad as I hate to say it,being a longtime fan of Bethesda,Im glad this game is getting ripped to shreds..nobody asked for this trash as game..Bethesda got the big head from always having such a loyal fan base.they thought we would gladly buy anything they stamp their logo on even if they pulled a EA and/or Activision move by sucking the soul out of one of their most loved franchises while packing it full of microtransactions and making it multiplayer only...and what makes all this so much worse to me is the fact that Bethesda showed up at E3 2017 proclaiming themselves as the savior of singleplayer games,then they had the nerve to show up at E3 2018(after claiming to be the savior of singleplayer just a year earlier) with a dumbed down multiplayer version of one of their 2 big franchises most loved franchises...and to think these idiots already came out and said they plan on using the same ancient engine for a third generation with Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6...smdh
