SXO: Remember when you were young and you used to complete game after game without a care in the world, you were the master of your domain, happy munching mushrooms and racing around collecting gold rings, your only concern being your parents telling you to go outside and play properly. You were thinking, this was it, this would be your hobby forever and when you got older no one could make you go outside and play properly, this was playing properly.

Phantom Knight provides his thoughts on the futility of Console Wars.
Humans are competitive by nature, in life there’s winner and losers.
Console wars don’t hurt the industry.
it will never die. It's not much of a war when Sony has won 3/4 of it's gens in historic fashion.
Nintendo atari sega were all once in the dedicated home console race, them 3 are the og's and none of them make home consoles anymore, Sony and microsoft killed them all and nintendo's case they ran off to their handheld market because they could not keep up with the big 2 in the dedicated home console business. Ill continue to support the big 2 as long as i can.

Gaming desktops are usually either big and heavy full-size beasts, or else miniaturized boxes that lack the power to impress. And whether you buy a complete system or an empty chassis to fill with components, they're often on the fugly side.

Deville Louw put together a list of 10 memorable and sometimes very difficult video game boss encounters. Do you remember these?
Most of the games listed span more than two decades. Why even add that in the title?
There's a lot more bosses that were memorable than just this list. Tough to narrow it down to just 10.
Are you okay? The most of them are from games that were released over 20 years ago.
That first boss fight in God of War was totally Legendary. I felt like it was a last boss fight.
Truly one of the best boss fights I ever played in a game.
Psycho Mantis fight also was Legendary.
Thanks!
I'm guilty of all of these. I don't think I can change though 🤪😂
Those are all some good tips. I'd like to add that if you feel fatigue from playing that one game for what might seem like ages, try to play 2 or 3 games at the "same time". Switching between them whenever you feel like it is refreshing. Especially with some big RPGs or open world games or multiplayer games that seem to have no end, you sometimes need to take a break and play a simple sidescroller or just anything else for a change. Sometimes it's hard to juggle between different games consistently, but it can help you avoid that fatigue from playing the same game for a month or more trying to achieve whatever goal you have just for that one game.
Naturally some people prefer concentrating on one game at the time, and for a long time so did I. But for me this really helped with my gaming fatigue.
This article is great! It's so hard not to grab a bunch of new releases or games on sale, and it really is a disservice to stray from a great game to keep up with current titles.
Yeah, the number one reason why I rarely buy new releases anymore is because they're just getting backlogged anyways. Why pay for the pleasure of enjoying the game right away if...I'm not actually going to do that. Spider-Man is the most recent exception, because I actually did do that. But, there are so many others that I just backlog when I get them.
