Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "During the last generation of gaming no game series took the world by storm in the way the Dark Souls franchise did. The trio of games separated the sprites from the polygons by crafting a new gameplay style that, while the groundwork was laid in the previous Demon’s Souls was truly refined and perfected over the course of the Dark Souls trilogy. Well it’s been a few years now since we all ‘got good’ at the original game so Bandai Namco has seen it fit to make us go through hell all over again with Dark Souls: Remastered, an enhanced and somewhat refined version of the original which, for the first time, allows Nintendo-players to enter the ringer with a new Switch version as well. So how does the game hold up after seven years? Quite well actually."

Bandai Namco has released its latest financial report, revealing that the Dark Souls series has reached around 40 million units combined.

Dark Souls Remastered was an oppurtunity for to introduce a new audience to this astounding game, but it failed to rectify the flaws that the original had due to production issues.

GF365: "Oftentimes, video games have characters who are antagonistic and really not very pleasant. Here are some of the friendliest characters in games where you might not otherwise expect to find them."
Having a great time with the game, but the joy-cons suck for this game...
