So, Zarvot: Quirky Garbage doesn’t have much going for it. It tries to be a fast-paced iso-shooter but fails to provide any sort of intensity more commonly seen in the genre. It’s a small file size, at least, so you can install and uninstall it pretty quick, which is a better game idea than whoever masterminded it in the first place.

Developer ‘Snowhydra llc’ have officially stolen this reviewers heart and filled it with cubes with it’s top down bullet-hell / action title ‘Zarvot: A Game About Cubes’.

Games Asylum: "Zarvot is an odd mix. It’s promoted as the story of two cubes getting a present for their cube friend. Though mostly it’s an isometric shooter. But really it’s both. And also not quite either. Plus a bit of fiddly other stuff."

TSA writes: "Zarvot is a game about small cubes that shoot lasers. Hard to put in a box – get it? – Zarvot toes the line between a wave-based shooter, narrative-driven adventure and platformer in equal amounts, with varying degrees of success."
