There is a canned "interview" with SNK floating around used to promote the US version of Metal Slug 7 which Ignition will release on November 18. SNK describes some of the missions in combat school, outlines the new slugs, but doesn't say anything substantial like outlining the differences between the Xbox Live Arcade release. The two things in Metal Slug 7 SNK seem to be proud of are their dot-image graphics and charming Cynthia, the female instructor who hands out the combat school missions. The developmental team kindly remind you, "please do not miss out on this."

OXG talks about this week's game releases. Highlights include Coro Pata (DS import), Darius Burst (PSP import), Lina no Atelier: Strahl no Renkinjutsushi (DS import), Simple 2500 Series: Akuma Hunters – Exorsister (PSP import), and Metal Slug XX (PSP import).

It's Metal Slug. Nothing more, nothing less. Fans will love it but everyone else should track down the recent Wii anthology.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves comes out on Xbox Live Arcade this summer. Garou was announced with a slew of other SNK developed XBLA games like The King of Fighters: Sky Stage, which doesn't even have a release date.
Metal Slug 7 was previously announced as an Xbox Live Arcade game, but it was missing from the list. So, "Spencer" from siliconera.com inquired about it. Robert Macchiaverna, Acquisitions Manager at Ignition Entertainment, explained "It is still happening, but I believe that's scheduled to be a 2010 title." Ignition published Metal Slug 7 on the DS (pictured) in North America and has a close relationship with SNK. "Ultimate Match ['98] is coming out this year, but Metal Slug is not," Macchiaverna continued.
Just one more year. Maybe a two-thirds of year until co-op Slug Gigant action.
this game was a blast i still wonder why they didn't add wifi and multiplayer
if the 360 version had multiplayer i would consider buying it again
only problem is the length though kinda short
