LIES!!! This game is the definition of perfect... 360 exclusive.

how can something like this slip past developers isn't that why they have people constantly bug testing games for. I mean like someone said above we are now flooded with endless patches for games that are just not finished its just getting ridiculous, this is a AAA tittle made by a company that knows what its doing. Sure they can release a patch but what if u have people that have no broadband access what to they do just settle for some half finished game.

Game breaker bugs should never hit the public. This is why you QA the crap out of a title before release. I can understand a glitch or two or ten but not these types of bugs. Darn shame. I will not buy Fable 2 until these bugs are fixed.

if i remember correctly the camera and framerate on Ninja Gaiden 2 was broken so they released a patch 3 months later.

frame rate drops in some of the 360 rpg games. pop in issues on gta4

etc

my point is had this all been on the ps3, the internet would have swooped in like vultures to slam the console....... but here it is and i'm just not seeing the n4g and other sites do the same to microsoft that they do to sony..

Some framerate drops but nothing too bad. Now I'm nervous though...don't want to lose my character. I've got a pretty good business empire going.

Ok I like Fable 2 But im a n00b at so can anyone answer me these questions

1) Is there armour or just clothes

2) Anyway to turn that gold road light thing up

3) How Long is the game - ****SPOILER**** im after getting that girl monk hero

4) Is there more spells ie. things like assassins rush and more from fable 1 (there seems to be only about 10 atm)

5) Is the collectors edition anything more than the Master Chief Stuff ?

at the sony casual gamers that are hovering over the 360 section like a hawk i can see why you casual gamers are upset sense their isnt anything to play on your crappy system keep waiting for little big delay so you can hype up another FAILED garbage game=)

it's not news about games it's news about sh1t we found in games. All previews here are just the negatives found in games and never really speaks the actuall experiance. all 3 console makers have issues, Ms has hardware and nickel and diming, Sony has idiots running the company and Socom is a piece of sh1t. What morons are responsible for a game like socom to be release like this. Sony had the easiest job this generation and only idiots could have ruin it. Nintendo wii, i wish i could get my money back......

I skipped the convo with the abbott without that happening but the only thing that has been annoying for me is that i cant play coop & i keep dropping off xbox live every 5 mins. Only during fable? loving the game tho just wish i could stay online while i play!

I'm not surprised. They've been tempting fate more and more by cramming more and more content onto those DVD9 disks. A lot of 360 games suffer from slowdowns, glitches, long load times, texture pop-in, and issues like that. Ironically, the most "stable" games are the 3rd-party games like CoD4 and Bioshock. Now, the PS3 suffers from long load times and slowdowns, too, but not to the same degree as the 360. Apparently, Gears 2 also has a fair amount of bugs (and the "bigger, better, badder" graphics aren't all they're cracked up to be, either).

People compare screenshots between PS3 and 360 all the time, but no one compares overall quality. When you compare the pretty games on the PS3 (MGS4, Uncharted, R&CF:ToD, Gran Turismo) with the pretty games on the 360 (Mass Effect, Gears, Halo), the PS3 looks and runs better. That's just a fact.

Ouch...those are some pretty mean bugs. Sure glad I am waiting to buy/rent this game. Hopefully there will be a patch to fix those issues...oh wait the 360 is perfect and dont get patchs, sigh.

I just experienced a glitch that I haven't read about and it forced me to restart the game. I'm pissed.

I just finished the Crucible and went back to finish up some quests, buy some property, etc. When I fast traveled back to Oakfield, I decided to partake in the "Protect the Light" quest--the one where you go to the Wellspring Cave to weed out the Shadow-monks.

In the third room, I defeated the boss and, as he was dying he tried to fall off the pedestal he clipped through it. The screen started to stutter and then I was outside of the Cave. I checked to see if the quest was completed and it didn't show up in the menu. I assumed it was.

So I spent a few hours buying property and doing odd jobs, which saves after you complete them. Well, when I decided it was time to go back to the dock and head to the Spire, I opened the menu to fast-travel back to Hanna's location. But the quest wasn't in the menu. In fact, my quests with the exception of "The Sculptor" and "Donate to the Light" was gone. After a few minutes, I restarted and loaded up my saved game. Same thing. The quests were gone.

After an hour and nearly 30 attempts at a restart, which included a lot of swears aimed at Lionhead Studios, I gave up resigned to the fact that I'd have to restart the game.

microsoft you wanna have some public betas maybe if your not gonna pay for the proper amount of play testers seems like the gamer is the play tester now days rather than actually coming out with games that arnt broken these are major glitches starting a whole hero over is unacceptable

I was concidering buying this today along with Dead Space but decided to just get the one. I'll get this later when its been fixed and I've finished one or two runs through dead space

It's a shame such a great game has so many bugs.

I was playing earlier and I lost all control of my character, he just froze dead and wouldn't move until I was hit by an enemy, and this happened TWICE on the same stretch of road!

Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the game's framerate will crawl. Even if nothing is happen, the framerate more or less dies. Sometimes the framerate dies when I'm doing a job, so I sometimes miss the first "meter".

I also don't think the game is tracking my income from shops and rented homes when the game is turned off, but I keep forgetting to check, but it doesn't seem to be rising much and I have no outgoing money for wives.

Luckily nothing game ruining (touch wood), but some really annoying elements.

It's kind of annoying that my two favourite 360 games (Mass Effect and Fable 2) are marred with so many bugs and glitches.

i like the "good evil" system in fable2, it'd be cool if final fantasy versus will have something like that but greatly improve it.. like say if you kill innocent people, the entire story line can change, depending on what you do you'll have a different gameplay and ending. too bad that's just too much of a hassle and time consuming for any video game developers to do. here's a tip for those who've downloaded it or actually bought it, don't walk on paths where the pixel are the same color as your boots, you might get your foot stuck inside the ground like i did.

Remember when Xbox was exciting.
Mass effect, Crackdown, bioshock, gta iv DLC, halo and gears when it was fresh.

Not all first party but some beach hitters as exclusives. I remember it was the only gen I didn't buy a Sony console first since the PS1 since I both couldn't afford it and the games looked and ran worse because devs didn't have a trip on the cell.

PS3 eventually became my preferred console that gen with infamous being my favourite game of the gen and the 360 making it clear core gamers were no longer a priority while don matrick tried to appease the Wii crowd to come play on Xbox instead of the Wii and eventually smartphones.

But man that first 3 to 4 years or so was magical for the 360.
