VR Developers, Please Don't Forget the PSVR Aim Controller

Pure PlayStation@ It was announced today that 2K Games and Gearbox Software will be releasing Borderlands 2 VR later this year for PSVR. That's all fine and dandy. It's not a stripped back version of the game - it's the full single-player experience. Oh, yeah, there's no multiplayer.

Do you know what else isn't included in the seminal first-person shooter and looter? PSVR Aim support.

I wonder how driving and shooting simultaneously would work while holding the Aim controller. Drive towards where your head is turned but shoot where the Aim controller is pointed?

Yeah, some games really arent practical for the Aim controller..that is why Sony needs to quit bullshitting and release some new motion controllers with analog sticks..I mean, the Moves aren't that bad in some cases but they are pretty horrible when playing games in full locomotion.I mean, they are still much more immersive than playing with the DS4.. a control scheme like was used in Skyrim and Killing Floor:Incursion is acceptable but there is no denying analog sticks would make the experience so much better

You got 2 directional sticks on the AIM controller, same as a Dualshock so this is a no-issue tbh. Just up to developers to add the VR "look-around" part to the game and the steering can be the same as a regular "non-VR" game.

I agree, any FPS made for PSVR should definitely support the Aim controller, especially when full locomotion is an option...with a game like Killing Floor:Incursion I can understand why they didnt have Aim support...I think even more important than Aim support,Sony needs to quit bullshitting and make some new motion controllers with analog sticks..the sooner they step away from the move controllers the better

I'm fairly sure that Sony filled for a patent that had moves with sticks on them a few months ago. Hopefully we see something from it because I can agree with there. Star Trek Bridge crew made great use of the moves, same with job sim. However....... using them in skyrim is a lot more difficult.
The Aim is the closest thing they have atm and with Firewall Zero Hour, it doesn't just work. It works 'REALLY' well.
Maybe Sony is already working with Gearbox to implement it and I do hope they are. Otherwise, please make more 1st party titles that support the Aim.

Yah. Great peripheral. I haven’t played firewall cause I know it’s pretty competitive but I hear it’s amazing. Also evasion just cane out. Looks up there with far point to me plus it’s all coop.

The aim controller is great with Farpoint, looking toward to playing Evasion and Unearthing Mars 2. But please Sony more Astro Bot. This title has set the standard for others to follow.

I'm still baffled as to why there is not a single good sniper rifle that i can use the aim controller with. I though the Perfect Sniper would be the game to fill that void but it fell terribly short
