Fallout 76 Beta Download Size Is Massive, No Pre-Load Supported

Fallout 76 Beta will be essentially the full game so it makes sense that the download size will reflect that, and it has been confirmed officially by Bethesda Softworks now.

I heard no crossplay is supported too...even after they blamed Sony for not having it. 🤔

I'd actually like to see Fallout 76 have crossplay (and cross progression too) so it's a little disappointing. It seems like an MMO-lite sort of game that's very community focussed so it'd be nice to have it all unified.

Just because you keep saying lies doesn’t make them true. Honestly, why would a fanbase that has more than double the players be requesting to play with a fanbase that is substantially smaller in size? A small monitory of PS players cared since it doesn’t change anything for the most of us.

Now that it’s an option even the MS executives and other devs have gone quiet or backtracked.

If it's a lie you can prove it false right? Because I can link you to the comment sections and you can see that on this site that the vast majority were defending Sony.

Have a look at Reddit though and you have a far more reasonable response like "I don't care but Sony shouldn't block it".

People here though were so desperate to defend Sony though that they went further and started conspiracies like the one you're repeating like MS fanboys, Media and corporate crusade against Sony.

Sony was in the wrong and they've done the right thing by flipping their policy. Accept it and then things can move on like you want.

Nope as of yet there's been no backtrack. Don't bother talking about Fallout 76 because people are taking a tweet and looking at it as though it's in a vacuum.

With all their cross play bullshit and anti-Sony agenda, I will not be supporting this game or Bethesda.

I don't believe Bethesda were expecting Sony to change their stance on cross play. But now that they have the truth comes out and Bethesda has been exposed.

well its a Beta so you get it for free but you shouldn't support this game at all especially considering its an online only version of Fallout 4 which is BGS worst product.

Regarding Fallout games, I seem to see WAY more negative comments this time around. I think it will flop. I can't believe it but I have no interest. Haven't considered buying it. I am neither bothered or excited about multiplayer. There just been anything exciting shown so far.

After playing fallout 4, it felt like the game was missing what made the pass 2 fallouts special and this one feels like the same with added online.

Fair enough, I get that. I mean at the end of the day this wont replace the core fallout games, I mean fallout 5 will be glorious I'm sure. I rather think this take on fallout could be fun, not 100 percent sure but I'm willing to try it out.

Granted the game does shift from the standard story driven gameplay, but I guess I'm just being optimistic about 76 at the end of the day.
