Annnndddd it's sold out...

it's sold out. I already own a switch and already pre ordered smash ultimate, but i'll get this so I can hack one of my switches and i'm hoping theres a bug that lets us download the game early (Because this bundle and download code release before the game even does) really hope this goes live again, im also signed up for a notification.

UPDATE--

For those really wanting to buy afraid they won't get it, it is still available on Best Buy, I just pre ordered mine. Sure I prefer Amazon, but once something sells out on Amazon chances of getting it are really low, and yes you get it on release day on best buy as well.

I just bought this on bestbuy. I paid for it with AMEX points. Lol.

Would rather have a Pokémon Edition announced. I’d love this as my second switch since the kids own the first one essentially but I will probably miss out waiting for one that may or may not exist in the coming months.

$400 USD? That's insulting. I thought the whole point of bundles was to offer a combination of things for a price lower than if you bought that all separately. These companies are really doing their all to fleece their customers.

King_Noctis2797d ago

I believe this was announced along side the Pokemon edition.

Still pretty odd that this bundle releases a month before Smash Bros Ultimate.

Nintendo wants to make sure this bundle gets the full holiday season to sell. Between this and Pokemon Nintendo is looking to have it's best holiday season in 10 years.

King_Noctis2797d ago

I believe they are playing their cards right. This year they are trying to pull in both their hardcore and their casual gamer with Smash and Pokemon, respectively.

badz1492797d ago

they better. because their 20mil units target for this fiscal year seems a little too far still

Segata2797d ago

They are being very aggressive with Pokemon and Smash Bundles for the holiday. They really want to win. Pokemon and Smash sell so would not doubt if they do. Not to mention I think they want to start a momentum unto 2019 as 2019 is shaping up to look on par with 2017 for Switch and want to hit that 20 million fiscal year sales.

Ninte2797d ago (Edited 2797d ago )

This bundle and the Pokémon.one is over $600 NZ.
