
Mavericks Proving Grounds, the ambitious MMO and battle royale shooter from UK developers Automaton Games, has delayed the launch of its Forge mode for early backers. The Forge had originally been scheduled to launch in just two days time but has now been pushed back by two months to Nov. 29.

He's certainly got the experience. It's working with Spatial that is difficult, with pretty much all but one title now being dead.

DSOGaming writes: "Automation Games has announced that its CRYENGINE-powered 400-person battle royale game, Mavericks: The Forge, has been cancelled. According to the developers, the game’s development has been ceased due to insufficient funding."

Apex Legends and Fortnite may be leading the pack right now but there are plenty of other promising looking Battle Royale games on the horizon.
