The latest entry in 2K Sports’ series is here, and it is about what you can expect. Dunks will be slammed. Teams will be managed. Avatars will be created. Microtransactions will be pushed. While some parts feel relatively solid and entertaining, there are also things that remind you that this is not only a 2K game, but a launch 2K game with major growing pains.

Sports games were not lacking on the Nintendo Switch, featuring a diverse collection of games that could appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers.

From GI.biz: "Take-Two interactive is facing a class-action lawsuit over its use of loot boxes in the best-selling NBA 2K games.
Bloomberg reports the suit was filed on behalf of a minor and their guardian at the Winnebago Country Circuit Court in January, before being moved to the Illinois Northern District Court last month.
The complainant says that loot boxes "psychologically distance" players from the true financial impact of such purchases, noting that -- in the case of minors -- these are often paid for by a parent's credit card."

Amazon has discounted the physical version of NBA 2K19 to just $4.99 on the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Doubt it, 2K is always good. I expect an 80+ Meta unless critics go on a crusade over VC (MTs).
looks like nba live 19 is shaping up to be the better game.
