Well obviously? How many times does this common sense concept need to be reiterated

Godmars2902796d ago

Every hour of every day to EA, MS, Activision (?) and Square Enix.

Replace Square Enix with Konami.... squares been doing an alright job lately, tomb raider game is pretty good aparently

notachance2795d ago

uhh, the square enix that just released Octopath Traveler and Dragon Quest XI??

Lennoxb632795d ago

Multiplayer isn’t every company’s strongpoint just like single player isn’t every company’s strongpoint. But they can both coexist. MS can’t make single player games just like Sony can’t make multiplayer games.

PhoenixUp2796d ago

Square Enix? They release plenty of single player games.

Just this year alone they’ve released Lost Sphear, Octopath Traveler, Dragon Quest XI, and soon they’ll release Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts 3, Life is Strange 2, & Just Cause 4.

That FF15 is more an MMO than the game it was originally suppose to be - FFvs13 - is reason enough.

PhoenixUp2795d ago

You’re just talking out of your ass now.

How dafuq is FFXV like an MMO?

How is one game indicative of an entire company?

FFXV was released as a single player game with the multiplayer coming long after. And since it was DLC, you’re not even inclined to play it.

Godmars2902795d ago (Edited 2795d ago )

Is FF15 multiplayer now? Online multiplayer with a custom character option at that.

And its that FF has become a showcase franchise. Something that focuses on graphics and presentation rather than story character development/exploration or gameplay.

PhoenixUp2795d ago

If you think FFXV has no depth, then go right ahead I won’t stop you

Godmars2902793d ago (Edited 2793d ago )

Didn't ask if it has depth, you asked what makes it look like an MMO and asked if it had certain MMO-like elements. Does it or doesn't it?

And MMO's story have depth. Thing is, unlike what's suppose to be a definitive characteristic of a SP RPG, like an MMO FF15's getting a revised ending or story.

Never has, never will

Elda2795d ago

Of course it isn't. Next.

DangerousDAN2795d ago

Yeah, like a guy said before me. It's just common sense. Also, as long as people have the desire to tell great stories (which is an eternal thing), single-player games will continue.

30fps sucks. Especially on an OLED.
