Sega: Shenmue fans! Unfortunately the patch we planned on releasing this week isn't ready yet and will instead be released on week commencing September 17th. We apologize for the delay but want to ensure you get the best game experience possible. We'll have more updates soon!

Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Xbox Store has just kicked off four new digital game sales that offers huge savings on various Japanese and retro couch co-op games, as well as games from popular publishers for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One gamers!"

GR: "In the 15 or so years between Shenmue installments, the fanbase has gained a reputation that they are obnoxious. While that might be true, their fanaticism and love for the series comes from a very real place. Having revisited Shenmue 1 and 2 HD recently, its innovation and historical importance still shines through."
They have a recap video you can play if you don’t have the time to play the first 2. However playing the first two is ideal.

If you’re looking to ‘spring’ some life back into your Steam game library, be sure to check out the sale that’s just got underway at leading digital retailer, Fanatical. Launched (March 11th), the Fanatical Spring Sale features major discounts on top AAA and indie Steam games, exclusive bundles, and flash offers (Star Deals).
We have had two big patches on Steam, and 1 currently in Beta, they have fixed some issues but a lot of niggling ones still remain. It's a damn shame that they didn't get these games released in a better state. I would have welcomed a delay if it meant the game was in a better state than it was when released.
I'm glad I have a large back log of games. So by the time I play this. It should be in a good state.
It's just a shame that first time players are going to be hit with some disappointment due to the issues. Not something this gem of a game needs.
I also have a backlog but will def be getting this but I dont want to get it till its perfect.
Does anyone know what the patches detail? I went back and played the OG games on my Dreamcast the HD remasters are pretty faithful to them.
