Why remaster when you can reboot? An opinion piece about games series that deserve a shot in the arm.
These five game series by various studios which has gone dormant over the years, and that's a shame because they had so much potential.
Resistance is a great one. I’m also sad there are no more Killzone, Dishonoured and Deus Ex games coming.

Based on the open network test, Sonic Racing Crossworlds is is a lot of fun. So we have a second option now.

From looking at the gameplay, it just looks like Fortnite, this would have been very poorly received by timesplitters fans.
Another legendary series that ends brutally.. glad this never came out, it’s an insult to the original one
I'm glad this got cancelled, what's with the Fornite knockoff? TimeSplitters was an FPS, not a 3rd person battle royale.
What were they thinking?
I got into a minor disagreement with their staff shortly after the closure, after i commented about a Timesplitters HD remaster to gauge public reception before such a big project here:

Looking at the gameplay footage, it's clear that the staff (no matter what level) we're out of their depth, putting lots of hours into a game that would of been DOA if Embracer didn't shut it down.

It's basically a Fortnite clone. Seems like a good decision to cancel this game.
A new Battletoads is coming. Other than that, from that list the only game worth a sequel in my opinion is Half-Life. The rest is mehh games.
Psi-Ops was cool, but there was a big lawsuit surrounding the game which prevented it from getting a sequel. I wouldn't mind a reboot.
I would like to see a Timesplitters collection. I never had the chance to play the series.
Psi Ops was fun as hell and would love to see a new one.
