game looked great to me at my buddies house, played smooth and had a lot of interesting character designs and "missions". I enjoyed it, and thought the graphics were a lot better then I first thought. This is just a fanboy article.

Lmao @ Lionhead Studios. Just like the first Fable, Fable 2 is plagued with bugs and glitches. Add PS2 graphics into the mix and you've got another perfect failure from Peter Molyneux.

This is Mass Effect revisited. Another plauged game due to Xbox 360 hardware. The conclusive evidence is there, Xbox 360 is the absolute worst piece of machinery in the history of gaming. The game is fun, but to say it doesn't have any bugs or problems would be lying to yourself. Some textures are to be desired and the coop system is broken. Me and my friend spent all today playing it. Even with these problems, it still is a lot of fun. Just not perfect.

I've got the game, I've had no problems. I play on a 61" 1080p tv, no issues whatsoever. Game is great, great colors, great world. Lots to do.

This game hasn't interested me at all. I'm just curious as to what kind of game it is (as I never played the first). I know you can (supposedly) choose your own fate as you so choose. Can anyone give me a quick synopsis or (preferably) some kind of equation using other game styles?

The loading times are long and there's some clipping. I'm enjoying myself though. I've always been a fan of Albion.

That is about it...and the co-op system is broken...Clipping and load times can not be fixed...but the co-op will or has been fixed. Still a good game..but not perfect...They rushed it a big to meet the deadline.

Maybe Fable 3 will be perfect.

Hmm, I haven't heard anyone else experience these problems, maybe these problems are only present in a small number of copies of this game perhaps?

one word describes this article; Bias...

it's an awesome game that bypasses all the typical RPG cliches and has a great graphics, great voiceovers, great gameplay, and most importantly a great story. of course, even if I do run into some glitches it wouldn't bug me. you have to be seriously anal retentive to let a few glitches bug you. there were some glitches on mass effect but that didn't stop it from being a great game.

My only gripes are that character models could have been better and I hate the fact so many people glitched pubgames and use the reset the xbox date glitch to make money .Other than that the game is awesome

Xbox sucks day? lol first there was the mediocre ending for gears of war 2 and now another supposedly AAA title for the 360 has been exposed to be mediocre.

Now im really in doubt that the 360 can last past this holiday season. I just feel sorry for the moronic ilinformed parents and 13yr olds who are gonna waist money on the cheap arcade 360.

While im not a fanboy, it truely seems that the ps3 is the console to have with all the AAA titles coming out.

I want to know why my DLC codes for the LE aren’t working!

I got the game this afternoon, and while I only played it for a few hours before having to go to class, didn't notice any of the mentioned problems that have "plagued" the game. I've never been that big of fan of RPG's as a whole, and only own Oblivion and Mass Effect, but am enjoying Fable 2 so far and plan on getting Fallout 3 as well. The article mentioned that there is screen tearing associated with 1080P tv's, I say that this is false as well. I am playing on a 42" 1080P Panasonic plasma and have not noticed any problems regarding the graphics/display. The only complaint that I cannot refute is that of the Limited Edition, as I purchased the Standard Edition. All in all, I would recommend not to take what this article is saying very seriously.

i got married to Aishe the Gypsy.

we moved to Old Bowerstone.

later on, i bought a new 3 Star house in Bowerstone Market, because she was sick of the old one (it was 1 star).

i had her follow me to the new house, and set it as my marital home.

instead of just continuing on like usual, i got the "Bigamist" Achievement, and it replayed the "The hero has gotten married," cutscene.

when i checked my families in stats, it said i had TWO families, with BOTH of my wives labeled as Aishe the Gypsy.

i also can't sell or rent out the house in Old Bowerstone, because it still thinks i'm living in their with my "first" wife, but now have a NEW wife in Bowerstone Market.

i reset the game, but it still did the same thing. i ended up buying a house back in the Gypsy camp, and setting that as my marital home, so now the "fake" Aishe the Gypsy lives there, while my "real" wife is in Bowerstone. i've been avoiding the Gypsy camp in hopes that she'll get pissed off and leave me (i don't want to kill her), but that'll just give me "divorced" stats, which is irritating, because i wasn't trying to have more than one wife in the FIRST place!

anyway, outside of that, the only real other issues i've come across are an inconsistent framerate, especially when i'm playing co-op with my fiance.

in single player play, loading menus takes a while, and being an rpg, you're in the menus quite a bit adjusting things, so it's kind of a nuisance when you want to do something like change weapons, or check your gold, or even teleport from location to location.

i'm having a great time with the game though, just thought i'd share my glitch.

most sites are giving it 9s and 10s. it's AAA.

I don't recall this being a problem in any of the reviews I've read; indeed, other than the incomplete co-op (which will be fixed), the game has received glowing reviews.

Freezing? Happens with any system with any game. Mass Effect did it to me a few times but I restarted the system and never had the issue again.

No DLC codes and Loud noise and loads.

Um the codes will be fixed obviously a small mistake. It IS a loud drive and it IS an open world game, you expect the game to just pop up instantly? Have you EVER played a game?

A game should not freeze to begin with, just look at any Wii or Ps3 games, they never freeze, know why? Because the two systems are perfectly designed by expert hands.

its just someone just trying to put fable2 down,good job that he never played oblivion,as that was glitchy,buggy and had freezing issues.but it never stopped oblivion from being the best rpg out this gen and one of the best rpg's ever

people will have to accept that fable2 is a great game,not everyone is gonna like it,im getting it friday and i might not like it.but that still dont mean its not a great game.

No problems with my game. Co-op worked great, the game looks fantastic, and I can't wait to go home and play more. Definately one of the best games yet released for the system.

Troll story, just like the Variety review of LBP.

I just finished reading the article and could have toasted marshmallows with the amount of flames in the comments section. With that many flames I would call it more like an inferno and I don't blame them; the author really is full of crap. I didn't experience any of the problems and the 'screen adjustment' complaint, I didn't need to adjust it for my TV sooooooooo.

The only problems that I seen is the really small stuff that is no where near being "Game breaking." Small stuff like when chopping firewood; my hero's axe is no where near the wood and when I lift the next log to split, her hand isn't on the wood and it looks like she's using telekinesis (rather funny stuff). About the only other thing is the very small glitches with animation now and then and believe me they are very small indeed.

I'm wondering if it is just not his 360 that is the problem; which might mean he could easily fix the freezing and/or loading problems with a good lens cleaning. Just get a regular CD/DVD lens cleaning disc and off you go, good as new!

As for my thoughts on F2, love the game. Love the simple battle system and the dog is the most lovable and the most useful dog I have ever seen; that pooch has a nose for treasure, its wild. And the nice thing is that you don't have to clean his poop up.

Problems: I had with fable 2: Fable 2 LE Doesn’t Come with DLC Codes, and Loading Noise yes not 30 seconds though.

Your expectations for 360 games have always been 10 times higher than any 360 gamer. You know the games are great and expect no flaws in their design. You know the quality is high and thus I clearly see your anger and disgust in your post. I laugh at you for your desperation to see issues with any 360 title...yet again.

And to those of you whom have bought the game and complain about issues take it back state the issues and get a different game for equal price unless you bought it at wal-mart which is stupid.

I haven't experienced any of the problems Fatardo has written about here. My loads times have been 5-10 seconds at most but I have not progressed too far either. The game is a AAA title IMO but I haven't tried co-op yet. It looks amazing and plays really well plus you have have orgies and kick chickens :)

i was just running along by Bowerstone lake (or whatever it is called) and the game froze. i had to turn off my system and start again. luckily i didnt do anything prior to it freezing so it was harmless, but this has been the only occurence in about 5 hours of playing.

sure, it might be my system, but ive never had any other game freeze or nothing, so im guessing it was the game? either way, that was (so far *knock on wood*) the only issue i've had.

but nothing major.

so PS3 is the only console? no face it, all consoles have problems. Thats why both PS3 and xbox 360 get patch updates.

Remember when Xbox was exciting.
Mass effect, Crackdown, bioshock, gta iv DLC, halo and gears when it was fresh.

Not all first party but some beach hitters as exclusives. I remember it was the only gen I didn't buy a Sony console first since the PS1 since I both couldn't afford it and the games looked and ran worse because devs didn't have a trip on the cell.

PS3 eventually became my preferred console that gen with infamous being my favourite game of the gen and the 360 making it clear core gamers were no longer a priority while don matrick tried to appease the Wii crowd to come play on Xbox instead of the Wii and eventually smartphones.

But man that first 3 to 4 years or so was magical for the 360.
