I think it is primarily parents that need to take more responsibility of what they allow their children to play. I do agree that devs that make trolling games like 'Hatred' or 'Muslim Massacre' or 'School Shooting Simulator' etc need to take a long hard look at why they feel the need to use exploitation instead of creativity an innovation to make games.

But when it comes to mature games like God of War, GTA etc etc it's not the devs that are to be held to account if children end up playing those games. It's very much the parents that are at fault there.

"Parents need to make more responsibility for their children" honestly this is a bigger issue that applies to far more things than just gaming.

Games as an entertainment medium have come a long way and parents can no longer buy this or that game as a "here kid, shut up and leave me alone" for a few hours babysitter. Parents need to be held accountable for the things their kids are exposed to.
