That would be huge. I really hope this turns out to be true. Windows emulation has been on Mac and Linux for many many years there is no reason while Valve couldn't create or even license emulation.

you can already do that... will they rip that piece of software off and name it something else
Until developers stop using DirectX and instead use cross platform apis (openGL, Vulcan, etc.), there's little hope to shift gaming to Linux. I don't see a real movement away from directX happening without some major muscle behind it...
