Doom Eternal is Ditching SnapMap for Post-Launch Campaign DLC

Less level editors, more post-launch DLC.

That sucks. Level editors are amazing, and are too far and few between in games these days...

Huh. No Snapmap. I might had not liked it as a feature as it was cumbersome and limited when it came to enemy numbers, layouts and item spawns, but it did continue the legacy of Doom being modable and being able to play the game forever because of user generated content (before it was a thing) so It'd better be shipping with a deep level and campaign editor day one for the community to get their heads around.
