From Destructoid: "I've been playing Dead Cells in early access for over a year now, but I never want to get too far if you know what I mean. I have a weird relationship with early access games in that unless I'm covering them professionally, I prefer to keep my distance until the thing is actually finished."

Two of the biggest names in the roguelite space have combined their two very different games into one fine piece of free DLC.

The End is Near is finally here on PC and console, as Motion Twin and Evil Empire say goodbye to Dead Cells.

The Metroidvania genre has captivated gamers for decades! Discover the best Metroidvania games of all time.
blasphemous 1 for me.
i love the artstyle and how they didnt shy away from their imagery
but symphony of the night is also superb
Catlevanias GBA and DS games are the best! But there others that I like a lot such as Hollow Knight, Chasm etc
As much as I want Silksong, adding it to the BEST is a little premature. It's not even out yet.
Unbelievable. Probably the best MetroidVania this gen, 92 Metacritic, and nobody cares. I love Uncharted and NMS but c'mon people. It's disheartening to see the articles that get hot and the articles people ignore. People don't care about real gaming news, they don't care about games unless there is a 20 million dollar marketing scheme. It's sad. TMZ culture. This is how games like State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves sell. This is why Overwatch was a thing before it was even released. This is why nobody bought Omensight. I'm sure Mothergunship didn't sell. Even The Persistence doesn't appear to be moving units on VR. These are all good games.
I've been hearing a lot of good things about this one, will probably pick it up tomorrow.
I’ve been waiting a while to get that Rogue Legacy itch scratched, and this looks like it could do it! I’ll definitely be picking it up.
I was going to buy Chasm until I realised Dead Cells was coming to PS4 this week. Held off and looks like I'll be spending my days off playing it.
Love these style of games in the lull between big titles.
