Fallout 3 And Borderlands Screenshot Comparison

The article looks at both games graphics, and gives a comparison on which game has a better/distinctive look.

Blend Games writes:
"Blend Games' Editor Pete Haas would probably automatically tip his hat in favor of Fallout 3, as he really digs the game. And I'm sure everyone who doesn't know about Borderlands would also tip their hat in favor of Fallout 3. But before anyone does any hat tipping, let's take a look at both games and each set of screenshots."

hey that game looks good!
but both games look fab fallout 2 abit more of a darker feel to it.
borderland has great textures as well tho
close to call but give it to fallout 3

Silogon6415d ago

Ummm, neither look that smashing "graphics wise" if you ask me. I'm sure both will be just as good, if not better than Oblivion in some respects, though. I liked Oblivion for it's medevil theme and such, I'd like to see more First Person games go back to the Old West or the Medevil times like Oblivion did; maybe then the FPs market wouldn't feel so bland.

Si-fi shooters and Word War II for the loss.

I've wanted to play more western style shooters since LucasArts' Outlaws. Especially in a free-roaming RPG setting.

I don't count Call of Juarez, because that kind of sucked.

Might I say:

Who cares how one games looks to another?! Play both and be happy.

Would be nice if they had New Vegas ready as well, especially because of the show.

Hopefully this doesn't have the same performance issues as Oblivion Remastered.

cloganart125d ago

I haven't seen anything on these performance issues? What's been going on?

walken7125d ago

Probably the Unreal Engine issues, I skipped it for that reason.

Throw in all the DLC as well, like Oblivion and I'll definitely bite. I recall having one trophy left to unlock on the PS3 version with 100+ hours in my save. When my save file got corrupted, lol. Very sad day.

To be fair though, Bethesda was trash at Playstation ports anyway.

Michiel1989126d ago

all devs sucked at porting to ps3 for the first like 3 years because no one had experience with the cell architecture. Even 1st party took a long while to get proficient with it, the difference between uncharted 1 and 3 is massive for example.

Extermin8or3_126d ago

Oh oh oh I can do this too. GTA 7 will be made at some point in the future. Fallout 5 will enter development in the future too

jznrpg126d ago

Everyone there should know most gamers want New Vegas and Morrowind more than anything.

Christopher125d ago

Which is why we won't get them. Gotta keep floating "support this one and it might happen".

BlaqMagiq1126d ago

Can't wait. Won't have to go back to my PS3 to play this when it comes out.

Fallout 3 remastered on the Nintendo Switch 2 is what we deserve, not the worst Fallout game

Fallout Day's disappointing news that Fallout 4 is coming to Switch 2 is a shame, as this 17-year-old entry is more deserving of a new port.

Why exactly do you think you deserve it??

Phoenix76198d ago

Fallout 4 isn't the worst game in the franchise. It's either Fallout 76 or Fallout BOS that's the worst.

gigoran8198d ago

PC and all other modern consoles never got a remaster of 3, but obviously the switch 2 was the tipping point to make it a reality... ahuh

1nsomniac197d ago

Meh, I thought 3 was garbage. I'm not a great fan of the franchise to be fair. They're like B-Movie films, really shallow and janky. 4 was definitely one of the better ones though.

UltimateOwnage197d ago

So the article makes a snippy entitled statement and acts like that is going to encourage a publisher to give them what they want. Okay.

ever since XIII came out I really loved the cell shaded artstyle in games. I probably wouldn't have tried it if it didn't have such a style like that
