They will downgrade the graphics andthey will replace the lighting with boring lighting that can't show the details as much as this picture.

UltraNova2727d ago

"Boring lighting"...yep I like it.

I have a feeling Anthem will face similar backlush to Andromeda but this time for the lack of a meaningful SP campaign. I hope I'm wrong but the writing is on the wall.

Obscure_Observer2727d ago

@UltraNova

Bioware never promised a "meaningful SP campaign" for Anthem. This game is about exploration, discovery, intense action and adventure with friends. If you want to go solo, ok. You´re free to do so. But that´s not the game main focus and you know it.

KillZallthebeast2726d ago (Edited 2726d ago )

Bioware had an amazing online mode for mass effect 3, lootcrates aside it was fun af. However it nailed a solid campaign and tight story reguardless of it's hated ending.

I fear this bioware died at DA inquisition.

Edit: DA inquisition being my last game I enjoyed from them. The way I worded it might be confusing.

kookwes2726d ago

too close to launch for drastic downgrades

marcuzgungeze102727d ago

This game has my interest but I can't commit until I see reviews or hear about it from friends. It just looks so freaking cool.

Maisay2727d ago

Reviews aren't helpful. Just look at reviews for games you already played and don't like. A demo is the perfect way to tell. Also, I learned to never pre order a game and always wait a little.

ShinRon2727d ago

ive played plenty of demos i didnt like where the game was actually much better... just saying

RavenWolfx2727d ago

This will sound like a plug, but since it is EA, check out the first few hours with EA Access (on Xbox, at least). Or GameFly.

Maisay2727d ago

Yeah, obviously, if you already have that.
P.S. Why can't I reply to ShinRon above your post? I don't see a 'reply' icon on his post but I see it in every other post here.

Outlawzz2727d ago

@semifreak you can't reply directly to a post that's already a reply. Same way I can't directly reply to you so I have to resort to this @ stuff

Last year, hopes high. This year, hopes low. And based off this map it's very likely going to be what I expected. A game akin to The Division, Ghost Recon or practically anything else. It's a blast to play, fun & engaging for the first month but after that boring with nothing to do. One of these days developers/publishers are going to realize they need real substance to make their games last. I certainly hope I'm wrong but from what we've seen this year, I strongly doubt I am.

As others have said. Reviews are pointless. The best way to judge a game is know what you enjoy and know what you're getting into. And know what's worth it or not to you.

bigmalky2726d ago

A friend with Shareplay on PS4 that'll let you have an hour or two to test it out after release, is another decent way.

kookwes2726d ago

reviews are worthless most of the time. SOme of the best experiences of recent have been average score games.

Anthem looks good but I have a lot of doubts.

fiveby92727d ago

Zero chance on pre-order. I will wait and see after release. EA credibility is pretty low in my book. Better to see what the game is about, how it plays, and monetization practices in use before getting swindled again.

I agree. Yet another jet pack shooter/action game. Yeah that’s what I want bioware making. It would be nice if they went back to making rpgs

Could Anthem live on? Tech allowing local server hosting existed, former executive producer says

BioWare's multiplayer shooter Anthem was terminated this week because EA no longer wanted to maintain servers for people to play the game on, and without them, no one can play the game. But the former executive producer of Anthem has revealed that BioWare had technology working, close to the game's release, that would enable us to host our own servers to play the game on.

EA/Bioware should allow us to host our own servers to let this game live on.

I'd be fine just playing it as a localhost and dumb as rocks AI bots. Just give me the choice.
