I'm curious when the publisher that owns the rights to this game is going to boot him to the curb.

This guy is taking what is currently a billion dollar franchise, and not doing anything but disenfranchising the user base that exists for the game, and weakening its potential for the future.

This guy has gotten way to full of himself. He hasn't gotten as bad as Phil Fish, although he got to where he is more quickly than fish because at least Fish released a finished and highly lauded game before he became a prick.

Lets look at the list of his transgressions.

-Accusing Epic of potentially being anti-competative
-Not finishing or even releasing a decent amount of content despite making over a billion dollars in early access revenue
-Charging for what is essentially a custom settings slider for a MP game like practically every other MP game provides out of course...and is so easy to implement in Unreal Engine its not even funny. Its practically a default.
-Claiming that competition should be curbed to prevent "copy-cats"
-Acting like he somehow has all rights to the Battleground genre.
-Starting the development of a new game which he seems more excited about than the one that he already got early access money from.

He's going to push his fan base to the competition, although they're already pretty much moving there already. The competition can be played for free...and is still making more money than PUBG. Yet he wants to monetize custom match settings. Good call there.

Another game more in line with PUBG mechanics and art style is likely to come around at some point. It'll probably be better given that PUBG isn't really advancing that much that quickly.

It'll be just another game mode in another already established franchise, or be its own thing.

PUBG is in danger of becoming irrelevant if they can't manage to actually get a full release out, not to mention stop acting like they're some Godly company that can make its own rules.

Brendan Greene is quickly becoming this gens Phil Fish, but worse, since his thinking is about the customer and what they should pay for so he can make more money. Fish was just a bit too full of himself, and became a raging SJW.
