Any Fallout game from Bethesda is going to sell incredibly.

However, this does NOT mean that the game is going to be good, or incredible for that matter.

I personallly hope that it's good, but I don't have much hope.

I prefer the single player experience of Fallout and Skyrim, and multiplayer is just not my thing.

I know that multiplayer is the goal of this game, but I'm still not excited like I would be for a full single-player game.

good one. i thought fallout 4 was a pile of nono. there are people out there who are a little bit more demanding than that ;-)
besides, the pointless online portion took this game to my blacklist. rip fallout. hooray to abominations of once good concepts.

Fallout 76 might be a hit... but I have little interest in the game.

FO4 was the victim of trying to appeal to casuals(bethesda won because it made them billions but it was a lesser experience than FO3 and new vegas)

They did a Skyrim but worse...dumbed it down and made it casual

I miss planning my builds and searching by hard work ways of earning more perks, Special or skill points

They were supposed to announce a Fallout 3 10th anniversary Edition at E3. I don't know why they didn't. That was the one leak that didn't happen.

bethesda printing money with anything FO related isn't a good thing for gamers as this is online only and last year they were all about save the single player. Atleast with EA we know what we are getting but with bethesda moving forward we aren't even sure where they stand

Gotta love the doom and gloom from people. They literally said they're going to still continue offering people a SP experience in games. God forbid a dev try something new right?! Simple solution for you folks...don't like it, don't buy it. Just buy their SP only games. Me? I'm buying FA76, and will buy their SP games also.

This is a side game, of course it's going to be different. If it was titled Fallout 5 and only had multi-player. That is when you can be concerned.

I agree with you, but I also agree with @snookie.

Fallout SHOULD be an incredible Singleplayer experience, BUT this game is intended to be a multiplayer experience. That's just how it is.

I personally dislike this, but at least we're still getting an Elder Scrolls 6.

Online only survival with barely any PVE content and no NPCs and bands of trolls out to only ruin solo players...oh and microtransactions on a full priced game. You have fun with that. There is not much excitement.

oh yeah super excited and hope this game makes them billions because that's exactly what we need another publisher looking at online games and seeing huge profits with little work. so be excited now but if FO76 does well it wouldn't surprise me if bethesda focuses more on online games

i am not buying because this isn't the FO game i and many others wanted but i understand that this may appeal to many others who have no interest in single player. I just don't like the fact last year bethesda were taking cheap shots at EA and now they are releasing an online only game

"Little work"? Bit of an understatement no? Bethesda has been very single player focused and pro consumer, lets give them the BOTD until they show us otherwise. Doom and wolfenstein 2 were sick campaigns

Eh, i will give a try but for me personally Fallout 76 went from pre order title to wait for significant price drop and try game.

Im not interested for any multiplayer aspect with my Fallout experience.

Depends on the launch. Bethesda is known for glitches but server crashes in the first month might kill off the game at the start.

Despite the impression you might get from only reading sites like this, online only games are immensely popular and Fallout is a monster franchise. Both these things add up to a very high likelihood of success.

Wow, you are just eat up miserable with hate, aren't you? I find it hilarious that you can't grasp the idea that maybe Bethesda supports both single player and multiplayer games. Just because they did a video showing their support of single player games at a time when all the "journalists" were predicting the end of single players games doesn't mean that they were ever going to make only single player games. Jumping to that kind of conclusion is showing really poor judgement and shows an irrational level of hate for no reason other than you want to. Bethesda didn't steal your candy bar and they didn't bang your mom. Relax. It's a game.

Bethesda has developed or published a ton of fantastic SP games, especially with publishing the last half decade. They also said Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI were both huge SP RPGs like we've come to expect. So how does Fallout 76 just instantly invalidate that??

It did that because of hype but if you go to any gaming site and bring up fallout 4 you will find very few people look on it fondly. It was way too dumbed down for casuals especially the dialogue system which was a joke and the sidequests were few and far between with only a handful being memorable

Its gonna suck i'm sorry to say, the pvp is gonna ruin the whole thing, was it co-op with up to 4 friends having a cozy time exploring and building it would be amazing, but this mess here no thanks...

I assume since they did not make a distinction between the different versions and there are no actual "servers" pm our end. It's just a private session that you can invite friends to.
