How Forza Horizon 4's shared world will change the way you play.

Forza Horizon 4 is getting delisted on December 15. To celebrate the end of an era, developers approved 80% off all the editions.

In June we learnt that Forza Horizon 4 was the latest game to suffer from delisting due to licenses expiring (happening December 15th 2024). While the game is discounted to encourage people to pick it up, Microsoft could go so much further with this.
If the game is online or has on disc DRM, you don't own it. Simple as that.
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, wants better game preservation across the industry, per Axios.
Spencer wants to see legal emulation, allowing players to access any older games.

Forza Horizon 4 is among Microsoft’s late-release successes after it was rolled out on Steam. It is among the most-played PC titles with a concurrent player count of nearly 76K. The game plays and feels much like its successor, Forza Horizon 5, except it’s set in Britain.
From DF
"Yes, Forza Horizon 4 is a natural evolution of its predecessor, but with a slew of new visual features and gameplay ideas - and from a technical perspective, there's also the mouthwatering possibilities offered up by the fact that the game is the first in the series to have been created with Xbox One X in mind from the start."
Shares world sounds interesting, but I’m glad they are still committed to solo play. Less than four months away!
For me PG are the ND developers of Microsoft. They just create quality after quality and what they have done in just 2 years since FZ3 is amazing. I know people on here will disagree, but I now think PG are the king's of racing games even though it's not a sim what they have done with 4 no other racing game comes close to.
So it’s like destiny but for racers?
