I’m done giving EA chances. They have to prove to me I should be interested until then I’ll be having fun playing my single player experiences.

Indie stuff? Cool. Battlefield V? Aight. Everything else? Blah. EA doesn’t know how to create hype at all, and it seems to only get worse with each new year. They don’t even advertise new features in their annual sports franchises anymore. They’re better off making the presentation 30 minutes, giving the indie studios some stage time, and rolling most everything else through a trailer reel.

No one is really analysing EA doing.
1. Ruining every titles including Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Need for Speed etc.

2. The very first company calls to ditch proper manuals

3. very first company worked last gen to ditch used games by including codes to activate online.

4. Releasing tons of DLCs and cosmotics with barely anything worthy.

5. Now playing hard role to make MTs and loot boxes as something standard in the industry.

Oh. Command & Conquer reappears as a garbage freemium mobile game. The disappointment is real.

That scripted stuff during the Anthem gameplay was cringe worthy. Why do they insist on doing this every year? We don't play our games like that, it's lame.

Anthem did nothing for me not hype at all. Destiny 2 expansion in sept got me more hype than it. They should've had more gp,way to short.

What a way to kick of E3. They almost put me to sleep with this conference. I didn't expect much and still got disappointed. 4/10.

That demo of Anthem was abreviated and underwhelming... They should have spent less time detail the world and the javelins, and not show concept art and instead just showcased a full gameplay demo...

Well done EA, your reputation for being terrible during E3 remains the same as ever.
Anthem looked boring, the presenters were terrible and sounded like they were on drugs, the games on show were your usual boring crap, too much filler (some gamer who makes money playing Madden with a silly belt, he looked ridiculous) Star Wars game talked about vaguely, Battlefield and Battlefront talk, that was dull.

The only things i was interested in was Unravel 2 and Sea of Solitude, but that wasn't enough to keep me interested.
2/10, it was terrible.

EA's conferences are always boring...

That redhead presenter was beyond annoying and embarassing. You can tell she hasn't touched a game controller in her life.

That whole Anthem panel was basically a waste of time. Almost nothing actually ABOUT the game. It was full of a bunch of non answers until the end then they gave people actual information.

Renee made me watch some of the conference dammit! But tbh it was decent, I expected much worse. They've got 2 indies and 2 big games as well as sports stuff so that's some progression from EA! Saved the most likely disappointments like NFS and Star Wars for next year

Christ almighty, that was a car crash. Not withstanding the terrible pacing and filler, it was the heavy handed earnestness from all involved that was so cringeworthy.

The hosts trying to generate hype and excitement around generally awful game videos made my toes curl. I think that the genuine emotion shown at Ubi's conference last year was well received by the community and EA were trying to engender the same goodwill this year with everyone trying to show emotion when talking about their games but it just came across as scripted and fake.

Then that Madden gamer who looked and behaved like an utter prick in the videos having his arse licked on stage by a proper NFL player made me super irrirated. Finally, the way they delivered new content around Anthem was dreadful, I dont want to hear people being interviewed and surely to god, we have moved on from the dodgy and completely unrealistic interactions of the CoOp-ing players in-game, nobody talks or acts that way when playing a multiplayer game.

Pretty boring conference. Looking forward to more Battlefield V at the Xbox event.

That show sucked. I’m looking forward to seeing more BFV and anthem during E3 though. They barely showed BFV.

So wasn't really fussed for Anthem before, it's still nowhere near my must buy list, but slightly more interested now they've spoken about the importance of story and having a single player shared mode. I hope that's true. Sea of solitude looked really cool and really enjoyed the first unravel so very pleased to have a co-op sequel.
It's good that they're not dropping support for Battlefront 2. I don't own it but good to see they haven't left it high and dry.
Wanted to see Titanfall 3 so badly, bit gutted there wasn't anything but didn't expect it because it would have taken some of the focus away from Anthem.

Honestly, the best thing EA showed was Anthem.
Looking at it in hindsight, it felt a lot like Xenoblade X, which is a complement to its world diversity and color pallet choices.

That was lame lol maybe waiting for Xbox or Sony show to start showing off more tittles. The host was hot though

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
