Grimshade is a story-driven tactical RPG featuring turn-based combat system and non-linear progression, set in a fantasy world.

Grimshade is an action RPG set in a steampunk world, but does it stand up on its own among a crowded genre? Let's find out in Will Heath's review.

Grimshade is a 90's style Steampunk RPG developed by Talerock. Join Charlie the badger sniper in this isometric tale of courage, but is it any good?

TSA writes: "There’s a moment at the beginning of every RPG when you have to steel yourself for dozens of hours of play. In a genre that is infamous for hot “it gets good after the first 10 hours” takes, there needs to be some kind of hook, whether narrative or mechanical to get you to commit. Many games offer a distinctive world, political setting, or innovative battle system as a way to differentiate from their competitors, and Grimshade does do these to a certain extent, but its most distinctive feature pre-release was easily a steampunk badger carrying a rifle. This eye-catching detail works both to draw you in and serve as a microcosm for the world and setting of the game."
Go Nintendo go!
Looking forward playing this...on PC.
I love all the words - "turn-based" "RPG" "non-linear" "story-driven" "tactical"
"...complex tactical turn-based combat and a well-developed role system, based on characters' equipment and group relations."
