The term “Soulslike” has become ridiculously diluted. I have seen it used for games just because they are difficult.
Nioh 1+2 imo are the best souls clone. Love the melee combat and ki system, really hoping team ninja doesn't abandon the IP and continue with a new title, hell just give us your take on the western fantasy setting for a new nioh game.
Lies of P and Wuchang Fallen Feathers are best soulsikes to me. I slightly prefer Wuchang ut they’re both awesome. I’d say Black Myth Wukong too but it’s a little more action than most souls games but it could fit in there as well.
I would love to day one this game, but i can't support Namco after the shoddy localization and lazy PS4 port of God Eater 2. They never patched the localization issues either.

Yes! I'm very excited to play this and I can't wait. I just love the style that Code Vein is dripping. I think September is a good release month before the heavy hitters in October and November.
That makes for 3 awesome games in September.
