ThisGengaming says: "After two days of playing the beta practically nonstop, we assess the pros and cons of The Crew 2."
(Still haven't gotten a Closed Beta Access code? There is one at the end of the article that can be used about 1500 times)

The Crew Motorfest will also eventually be playable offline.
And people are actually against the Stop Killing Games movement, but this is definitely a response to the pressure because of it. How hard would it have been to make it playable offline from the get go? Less harm than having to go thru a controversy so easily avoidable if people stop making decisions based on their greed. And the average consumer has become to accepting of this that it's beyond baffling.

Despite being six years old, The Crew 2 has smashed its concurrent Steam player count record thanks to a steep discount.
The thing was a damn buck lol. Of course. I grabbed it on both PC and console because why not?

Ubisoft revealed that they will add official Offline Modes to both The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest.
Welp, just grabbed Crew 2 because, hell, it was a buck. Let's see if they hold to their word, being they killed the original and are likely to do it here as well.
Finally! Offline modes for The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest—this is huge! Ubisoft really listened to the community on this one. Now we can enjoy the open-world racing experience without worrying about server issues or internet connection drops. Can’t wait to hit the roads solo and explore at my own pace. This is a game-changer for both casual players and those who just want to cruise without distractions!
I didnt like it driving is still terrible imo even after messing with the so called settings. Will pass on this one as well.
No sense of speed and very terrible driving, this is the only real issue of this game and ubisoft not willing to fix it for some reason its always underwhelming products and a waste of the huge map.
