Getaway could have been a blockbuster but ended up being a frame rate jank feat. Absolutely horrible
The Getaway had a good script, good location and an early yet janky cover system. All that potential was wasted unfortunately.

I sort if disagree with The Getaway. Playing it all those years ago, it had a dodgy control system, more so vehicles, was slow and was graphically unfinished. The sequel was even worse and the third game on PS3 was canned. I think Sony should take both games and merge them into one (as with the soon to be released Max Payne 1 and 2). Weird how Sony messed up The Getaway never to be seen again.
One of the most underrated games of the PS2 Era.
We need a remaster of both games on the Ps4.
Still hoping this series makes a come back to PlayStation again.
I liked the first Getaway. Music,script and London vibe were well done.
Please Sony... Bring back The Getaway. I still quote the first game to this day.
