The Forest Review - IGN

The Forest blends exploration, discovery, and cannibalism in a story-rich survival horror sandbox.

So glad to see people reviewing this game now that it's finally done. It was a very long time coming but I've come back to this game a number of times through it's early access over the last couple of years and gotten every nickle and dime I paid for it. The gameplay is fun, the survival can be extremely tough on the higher settings, the multiplayer is a blast and supports up to 8 people, and the story is surprisingly good and well told in a very unique way for a low cost indie game. Can't recommend this game enough and hope it makes it's way to consoles so I can purchase it again and play it with my friends that don't have PCs.

Is there an actual story or is it more like Don't Starve (just survive as long as possible).

From the reviews I've read there is a story and even an endgame which is cool for this type of game!

Been waiting for the final version of this game for years! Thought it looked interesting in videos I'd watch starting back in what seems like 2014 and can't wait to play it on my Pro!
